WHAT SETS US APART

The majority of group-based gyms, transformation centers, weight-loss centers, and bootcamps lack any type of intelligent methodology.

Many of their coaches/trainers go through an expedited certification process or skip it altogether. Ultimately, creating an environment where paying clients are being directed by an individual without any science-based education, practical/supervised onboarding, or any credentials that go beyond their name tag.

The majority of their workouts are randomized routines that just about any gym rat could write up. No overall plan, no overarching design. Just random lifts, random drills, and hoping for the best.

That is absolutely not the standard here.

Our Standards
and Methodology

  • In this training compound, we believe that in order to lead, you must be capable, both mentally and physically.

    Coaches are require to hold at least one nationally credentialed certification and complete a 30 hour in-house onboarding process to ensure that they are fit to lead.

  • In contrast to the random workouts that most facilities offer, we take the time to carefully program our workouts 4-6 weeks in advance.

    As we do this, we factor in a myriad of variables to ensure that our team experiences progress, avoids injury, and ultimately gets plugged into a routine that considers the most subtle training factors that most gyms completely ignore.

  • Again, unlike most group-based facilities, we have clear expectations for our teammates to meet so that we can ensure that we are only serving individuals who are wanting to learn, grow, and be an asset to those around them.

    We value and enforce timeliness, basic training etiquette, proper execution of workouts, and other basic variables that protect the integrity of our program.

  • The most common denominator when our teammates talk about their training experience is how their inner-workings and mindsets have changed.

    While we take great pride in providing great workouts that evoke positive physical change, our overarching goal is to produce stronger, better people from the inside out.

    We slowly accomplish this through our style of training, the environment in which we’ve created, and our consistent push to make our teammates fully recognize and respect their capabilities.

  • Although it sounds counterintuitive for traditional business-doings, one of our goals is to make our teammates so capable and confident that they ultimately recognize that they don’t need us, any gym, or anyone, in order to succeed in their physical well-being.

    Just as any good relationship is built upon the ideology of serving and bettering the other person, we, too, are hellbent on serving our team to the point that they ultimately stay because they want to, not because we’ve made them feel like they’ll fail without us.

Choose between two of our recurring monthly membership options. One option provides a cheaper monthly rate with a sign-up fee, the other option has a higher monthly rate with no sign-up fee.

This gym was exactly what I needed in my life at the time I joined. I was becoming lazy and unmotivated while working out during the pandemic. I had been following the DBC instagram page for months before I finally built up the courage to go because I was so intimidated while watching videos of these badass people working out there, lifting heavy, wearing weighted vests, etc. I was scared I would not be able to keep up with others.
As nervous as I was the first few times I went, I found myself wanting to come back & even looked forward to it. I loved the energy and environment, and I began to see the vision & mission behind DBC which fueled me even more. I was motivated to give it my all every time I stepped in the gym, no matter how sore or tired I was. I was challenged more than ever before, pushing myself past limits I did not know I was capable of surpassing with the support of the coaches and teammates. I learned quickly that nobody is concerned with you or your level. I learned what it truly meant to “disrespect your excuses,” and that is something I still abide by now. Whether it’s still getting to the gym when I’m feeling tired and lazy, forgetting my headphones at the gym & pushing through a silent workout or whatever else. I throw out any excuse I make for myself and others now, and I am constantly asking myself how I can grow or be better than the person I was yesterday.
This gym is not just about getting physically stronger, but it capitalizes on growing our mental strength & mindset which sets it apart from any other place. I have been deeply inspired by the values set forth here that I hope to incorporate in my future career in mental health. Although I have relocated to Southern California, I carry all I have learned from DBC with me & continue to spread these principles as best as I can in the world to change the lives of others like DBC did for me.

When I joined back in 2019, I had never been to a gym before. In fact, I hated the thought of working out. On my 37th birthday, I came to the realization that I didn’t like the way that my body looked. And even worse, I didn’t like how I felt. I made the promise to myself that I was going to change. Otherwise, I would continue to spiral downward. 
When I started, I didn’t know what a burpee, deadlift, or row was, but I didn’t let that stop me. With the support of coaches and teammates, I slowly gained confidence that I never had. And at the same time, I learned good lifting techniques.
After more than 3 years, I am absolutely addicted. Everyone here has the same goal, so it’s easy to feed off of the positive energy. I am so grateful for being provided the tools, and this place, to continue with my fitness journey.

When I first stepped in, I had no idea of what I was joining. It starts with the coaches who are genuinely invested in your success, continues with the regimen, and the cherry on top is the team of individuals who surround you. Those, who, by looking at them, push you to pull through that hard workout.
The community as a whole will bring you closer to your goals. You’re properly instructed in form, with workouts that push you past your self-imposed limits, and, most of all, taught, by example, how to persevere.
The benefits are not limited to the gym; everyone aspect of your life might change. For myself, in the time that I’ve been a member, I can tell you that it has brought out strength that I didn’t know I possessed.
